“Rock, Paper, Scissors” is based on real events that took place during the full-scale war in Ukraine.
The short film was created by Franz Boom @franzbhm, a British director of German origin. Ukrainian actor Oleksandr Rudynskyi played the main role.
The movie tells the story of Ivan, an 18-year-old boy living in the east of Ukraine. The boy’s father is a surgeon who operates on wounded Ukrainian soldiers and treats civilians in a local bunker. When the Russians find out about this, Ivan must protect those who live there.
