Maybe some nuclear weapons as a ‘deterrent’ like about 500 of them. There are too many bad countries having them. Some say they are a deterrent where as Russia says play by our rules or we nuke you. That is not a deterrent, but a serious threat.
Putin doesn’t trust Ukrainians that they will not recapture all land if he removes the army from frontlines, unless he surrenders all of the land. Ukrainians don’t trust Putin that he will not reinvade if they remove the army from frontlines.
Maybe Ukrainians should volunteer then?
