Zelenskyy hasn’t been all that interested in talking with Russians for the last three years, he isn’t the one driving this process. There’s probably nothing ”nefarious” happening Tuesday in Saudi Arabia, the US side appears to have come up with some kind of framework. That appears to be what they discussed with Ukrainians last Friday in Germany, now they appear to be doing the same with Russians on Tuesday. That’s how diplomacy works, where it goes after Tuesday we’ll see.

There is a lot to understand about Trump and how he does deals. It’s always a win-lose mentality. He wants to trick, lie, exaggerate. He doesn’t care about Ukraine as he doesn’t have it in him to care. It’s not his fault he has always been self-centered.
A guy called Harris worked for Trump. He negotiated a $50K modeling gig for Melania. Which would net him $5000. When he stepped into Trump’s office Trump handed him a golf putter as it was some big event. Maybe worth $300 and Harris was sent on his way. Few really bickered with Trump when he offered them pennies on the dollar. You don’t expect it so you don’t know how to respond. And you figure Trump will maybe pay you later or give you better business deals later worth millions. No one has figured out that Trump doesn’t have any money to pay people as most of his deals are net costs because he doesn’t understand deals. He understands people and how to trick them.
Casinos, most buildings, his silly scam ideas like Trump University most of this is a net negative profit wise. He’s a hustler making money by hustling. Since day one when he claimed to be rich while actually being middle-class just spending his dad’s money to construct and refurbish high-rises. Using the Trump name not the Donald name as his dad was the one with the money and good head for business. Trump will be eaten alive by Putin as Trump understands hustling not making legit geopolitical deals. The chance of this deal going Trump’s way is zero as all his deals are bad. When he can trick people he makes decent deals. Or when people make deals for him. That’s it. And Putin knows the game so how would Trump ever trick him?
Perhaps we could have our own negotiations without Russia and the US to counter their proposal. Didn’t we do it once already in Switzerland last year?
