      Every time I see a pick up truck I get a mental fit of wanting to do spontaneous vandalism. Absolut filth. Anyone who drives one has to have a hard look in the mirror and think about how they can be less of a waste of space.

      I thought you had to have all four wheels within the marked area or you could get a parking fine… Maybe the solution is actually enforcing existing laws?

      I know one guy, 50ish years old, has to prove his masculinity at all times, but this guy is a hunter. During season I can hear him come home late at night from hunting. This guy drives a RAM 1500 (or something like that), big truck, super redneck.
      What I’m trying to say is, he was actually making proper use of the open bed, dear, hogs and other animals that would ruin the enterior of any van or car. So he also has his gear on the bed with a lockable crate for knives etc. Which to me always made total sense and since he is working just a few minutes from our houses he was usually biking (bicycle or motorbike) to commute.
      I always thought that is a very valid and sensable reason to drive a car like that and definitely better than all the stay-at-home parents driving SUVs (I do fucking hate SUVs just as much as those trucks probably).
      Anyways, last year his son turned 18 and with the combined savings of his “Lehre” and the typical birthday money bank account every middle class swiss kid receives from their parents and grandparents, this kid working as a cook (or chef or whatever the proper term is) got himself the exact same fucking RAM 1500 pickup truck.
      And if that wasn’t bad enough he managed to get a custom exaust with tuning to make this thing as loud as the law permits. Now I not only hear his dad come home from hunting (which never really bothered me, he is super nice about it and only unloads what is immediately necessary like his guns, at night and does the rest in the morning) but also this little shit brat from wherever 18-20 year olds go at night.

      American here. LOL. The cherry on top would be if it had a diesel engine and a gun rack inside. I apologize on behalf of my country… but the inmates have been running the asylum here for a few decades.

      Its way too late for us, but if your government had any sense, they would tax these into oblivion.

      Having said that, they are great for running into and over local wildlife

      This vehicle was clearly assembled in Mexico, so it has well founded fears of being exported if it parks in the U.S.
