People have come from all around the world to help Ukraine but the Baltic Nations of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have contributed more than most, both in monetary contributions and in volunteers going to Ukraine to assist. This soldier in 3rd Assault Brigade is one of them. He’s hospitalized right now but headed back out soon.

He requested help getting night vision for his team. They currently don’t have any NVGs which means they can’t easily see the enemy at night. (3rd Assault Brigade is generally very well-equipped but they’ve recently expanded and taken on a lot of international volunteers; while many teams have been issued NVGs, he is on one that needs extra help). When I asked him if we could use photos of him he said that is okay because “Everyone knows how much I hate the Russians.”

We have some updates coming soon (waiting on photos) but in February we delivered 6 NVGs. An Aussie soldier from Droney McDroneface got one! A Brazilian soldier on Delta Knights got one! A combat medic on Med Team Alpha in GUR Legion got one. An American on Team Phalanx got one. And two soldiers from Team Ronin in GUR got two (this was the team that had almost all their equipment destroyed in a vehicle crash). It generally takes between $2500-$3500 to supply one monocular. Prices vary depending on the model ordered and not every soldier has the same needs. We go by what is recommended by the soldiers themselves and their team leaders as to what is appropriate in each case.
