      >Haven’t bought an Irish newspaper in years

      Technically, you still haven’t.

All you bought was bog roll.

That asteroid is a real threat though!

The triangles though? A little bit of fun in my book

An phoblacht magazine is the only one I buy anymore, I’ll read the independent if it’s on a bar counter to see what the enemy has to say, that’s about it

Is Dragons Triangle beside Cthulhu meant to be Dagons Triangle?

It’s genuinely concerning that people buy newspapers like that

Triangles of Terror? Have they added chilli paste to Laughing Cow cheese?

I don’t care how broadly people think they curate their various social/news feeds, you can’t beat the mad and interesting shit you’ll find in a newspaper. I was reading the Kerry’s Eye earlier and learned a fuckton about the McDonnell meth case and how Knocknagoshel now has no shop and is slowly, sadly, dying.

The right-wing howler shit belongs in the fire unread though, obviously.

Interesting fact, the Bermuda Triangle used to be called the Bermuda Rectangle until one of its sides mysteriously disappeared.

Ah reminds me of my youth looking through the Weekly World News in the local newsagent. Good times

“Newspaper” The Star. Might as well buy the Beano. More realistic.

I’d recommend picking up your local newspaper. Supporting local and our local one is genuinely a good read.

The difference between the tabloids and a prion?

One turns your brain into a diseased sponge.
      The other makes cows mad.
