      Hi. American here: I hate this too. I voted for Harris. I campaigned for her, I took friends to the polls. I did what I could. I’m the biggest target of right wing hatred in this country. They literally plastered all over government web sites that my existence is a threat to children. Yeah, we are fucked.

      I’m an old piece of shit at this point, but I was reared at the end of the Cold War. I absolutely cannot believe that my countrymen do not see what is happening as an after-the-bell kill shot from Putin. In the most disrespectful way possible, Russia has brought fictive words (literature) and cacophanous noises (symphony) as a distracting prelude to the horrors of its predatory mentality. There is no justification for Rus as an empire to exist, and we are all set to suffer for our lax attention paid to this most ancient of adversarial states.

      Also, put the US on it’s own. Picture the doorway of a piano bar, NYC 3 am, t shirt in a puddle and knuckles up.

      Why do people keep bringing China into this ffs, Trump hates china and modern day China are one of the most rational forward thinking countries in the world.

      They have deep trade relations in every continent and this trade based approached has benefitted them enormously, they have indicated they want stronger connections with EU.

      If this hits the fan, we will 100% align with them. USA are completely unpredictable and they are smart enough yo understand they will be in his firing line eventually if he does succeed at fully grabbing power in the US.

      This is 100% because Zelensky turned down the mineral deal so now Trump is throwing a tantrum because that made him look bad.

      I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised to see Europe, Canada, Aus, etc start forming stronger economic ties with China as the US goes into economic insanity.

      And the MAGA US is culturally & geopolitically aligning with Russia, too..

      I’m so sorry 🙁 I’m so ashamed of my country.

      I’ve been supporting Ukraine personally, as my friend & coworker in Kyiv joined the war despite being an engineer with no military experience. So I’ve been collecting donations to help him & his fellow soldiers buy supplies, to stay warm in the trenches over the winter.

      I am taking actions in my direct community to try to fight against all this, but it breaks my heart.
