The arrogance of Europe astounds me. For decades the US, both Republican and Democrat administrations, have pushed Europe to step up and spend more for their own defense. Europe refused. For decades the US warned Europe about Russian aggression and to reduce dependency on Russian oil. Europe refused. For decades the US pushed for Europe to take control of their own diplomacy and safeguard Europe so the US could focus more on the Pacific. Europe refused.
I don’t think Europeans understand just how much the American public has turned against interventionism over the last 15 years. Americans are sick and tired of Europe freeloading off the American taxpayer and then lecturing the US about foreign policy.
The biggest threat to the US is the Pacific. The US has few capable allies in the Pacific and will have to do a lot more heavy lifting in any future war with China. There is no reason why Europe can’t hold down their own continent and free the US up to focus on the Pacific. Europe refuses to and then arrogantly demands the US self sacrifice for the good of Europe. Why the hell should the US defend a continent who refuses to defend itself?
This picture speaks so many volumes, can’t believe all the sacrifices that the allied generation made during the 1940s is being spit and trampled on by these tyrannical goons, and what’s more shocking that US is now the very first victim of it, what a fucking shame, disgrace, and an embarrassment, can’t believe this is happening, no wonder why everyone says “history always repeats itself” looks like we will all be fighting fascism 2.0 in the near future yet again, we live in such a shitty and an insane timeline!
