Nice to see progress, but it’s still glacially slow.

In the CERN council minutes June 2016, Ireland was listed along with Lithuania, India and Ukraine as “future Associate Member States […] in advanced stage of negotiations”. Ukraine joined a few months later, India in 2017, Lithuania in 2018. Ireland now maybe 2026.
