Can’t save faster than inflation unless your earning a significant salary and/or living at home. Crazy

Bought a house last year and already made the deposit back on the value of the last property’s going on sale around us.

      It’s fucking nuts

Come on trump crash the fucking economy and reset this shit show. (I know it would only reduce the property by 10-20percent depending on the crash) but we need a correction with house prices as building is not going to pick up to keep with demand and rate of climbing prices. Obviously anyone who bought wouldn’t like one, fair enough. But anyone who is in the process would love to see some form of a price correction.

House in my estate was bought in late 2023 and sold last month. Price was up 40k (about 15%) That’s more than most people would take home from working.

New buyer couldn’t even use HTB. Madness.

Even as a homeowner, as our house goes up in value, so too does the price of the house we’d want to buy if we wanted to move. So we don’t really benefit, those just saving for a home are shafted, and the only people this helps are those with investment properties.

I guess voting in the same useless people and their disastrous policies has consequences, who could have guessed

The housing price increase year on year, but the country itself is not improving at all!
The public transport remain a joke, the train network is a disgrace, we have empty iconic building that are falling apart, city center is disgusting, and all constructions are hotel or office
Don’t tell me that it’s not intentional all of that! Don’t tell me FG or FF are actually trying to achieve anything to improve the people quality of life
Giving 250€ credit for energy to everyone ( even the ceo of Ryanair must have got it 😅)
Sorry but what the actual f**k are those politicians

Next year they’ll be giving the % increase in cabins alongside the house prices
