President Donald Trump blamed Ukraine for the continuation of the war and even hinted that they started it. He says that Russia wants to stop the barbarities. The facts are:

* Russia has started the barbarities and is responsible for their continuation
* Russia began the invasion
* Russia has killed civilians and has forced them out of their homes
* Russia has bombed hospitals
* Russia has made children orphans

For three years has Ukraine fought for its freedom.

Russia should pay!

I think I might understand what is going on with Trump claiming that Ukraine is responsible for the war.

It’s not that he is intentionally lying, after all it would be pretty difficult to convince anybody that Russia didn’t invade Ukraine.

I think what he is saying reveals his worldview.
Trump strikes me as someone who believes in “might makes right”, so he blames Ukraine for having the audacity of fighting back against a militarily stronger enemy instead of surrendering from the beginning.

Well, at least that’s my interpretation.
