Il Martedì della Terra è la festa più fondamentale del popolo azerbaigiano. Si ritiene che oggi madre Natura si svegli dal sonno. Il Martedì della Terra è una festa così ricca di così tante celebrazioni e tradizioni che non basterebbe scriverle e spiegarle tutte, ma per riassumere, si visitano i fiumi, si accendono falò, si accendono candele colorate per ogni persona, si raccolgono fortune festive. detto, le rute sono bruciate per pulire la casa dalle cattive energie e vengono cucinati una varietà di piatti contenenti verdure fresche. What is your regional traditions for Earth Tuesday? I am Ardabil-Lankaran mix so for my family Earth Tuesday is way more important than Novruz. In our southern region, people go to the rivers early in the morning, collect water from the river with special holiday pitchers, sprinkle water on each other, play, and make wishes by the water. Then, when they return home, they burn Üzərlik(wild rue) incense to dispel negative energy from the house. They look into fortunes, jump over a fire at 7 in the evening, and each family member lights a candle according to their intention, and fortunes are read based on the figures made from the candles. As for food, Ziyad (Kütüm) fish is cooked without removing its scales, and of course, it is served with lavangi inside. Additionally, according to the theme of the day, green Kükü and green Tərə soup are prepared. Before going to bed at night, we eat salty Kuku and put clean socks under the pillow to dream of our future lover.
