That sounds like something a group of dads made up to stop their kids fucking around with the Calor Gas.
Not sure if it’s paywalled but basically a boy in Darndale injured himself in a gas canister explosion, showing up at the Mater Hospital late on Thursday with most of his hand missing. The hand will undergo DNA testing to confirm.
I would investigate the bird first, I’d say he had a hand in it
