I would like to remind that article 5 work only for the defense, i.e. when the NATO country is not an aggressor. Looking at the certain rhetorics, even clearly being invaded might not be acknowledged by certain country(ies) in NATO.

Ask yourself this, how many countries can still support such false statements, just to not get involved to respond to article 5? You might wake up one day to see it actually too many.

Also, they still can do that without actually leaving NATO, probably would even prefer that.
