No nooo nooooo, he’s right! but …. noo nooo, this shouldn’t have come from someone like him. That moment when totally fked up politicians are siding with normality and gain respect again….

As a Romanian my reation is the following: Heartbreaking, worst person you know makes a good point. He is right, he is 100% right that statement is not wrong in any way shape or form, but, fuck sake if only it was said by ANYONE ELSE, this motherfucker made the original blueprint for what is happening around here now. His statement is right, the broken clock managed to get it right once, and i’ll give him credit for that but still

      I can’t believe I’m going to say this….
Năstase has made a point that I agree with. I cannot believe it has come to this. Do you realise how badly someone had to fuck up for me to have the aame opinion as Adrian Năstase of all people?

If he means the January 6 rioters went in and killed people that’s wrong. Only person who was killed was a female protester shot by a security guard as she was tearing up a door window inside the Capitol. She was at the door off the ground as he shot her in the chest and she was a long way away from getting through. Maybe a minute. The shooting was not prosecuted and didn’t need to be pardoned.

Who are the pardoned police officers? For a pardon you typically first need a conviction. So where did cops storm a building and kill innocent civilians? I can’t recall a single such case with a pardon. Waco may seem similar but in that case the cult set fire to the building after locking all the kids inside a small room they could not escape. Pardoning was not needed and that case is not making any side look good. Again, it must be the January 6 pardons? But here the cops were defending the building not attacking it.

The US is a house of shame. I mean Romania has a point here.

These are all words, and they are cheap. Start looking into ditching American arms and dollar as global currency.

He is right, but this criminal led the most corupt goverment Romania ever had after the fall of comunism. On his time as prime minister there were the most state faliments and state asset taken at modest prices by private “investitor”and a lot of wealth over night, let alone the bribes and the sistemic coruption in every institution. Whole cities and regions buried and destroyed economicaly, left in the hands of a few rich individuals , “local barons”.

Romanian neighbours, you’re doing so well. Keep it up!

I wish our corrupt and useless Bulgarian courts and politicians took some lessons from you.

And to think back in the day we were offended they bundled us up with you for the negotiations to join EU cause we thought we’re ahead of you.

Now factories in Bulgaria are moving to your land to avoid being extorted for bribes and we are one of the Russian assets in the EU.

Ignoring the context and just focusing on Historical accuracy: Romanians did precisely do storm the Bucharest palace during the revolution against Ceausescu

Vance, Musk and Trump can sure learn a lesson or two from our romanian brothers on what happens with power-hungry dictators

He is right. I don’t care of the skeletons we have in the closet as Romanians, we don’t need democracy lessons from an election denier. For better or worse we have it better than what’s going on rn in US.
