Air Defense Systems, Robot 70 e Tridon Mk2, da donarsi in Ucraina (1,2 miliardi dalla Svezia 🇸🇪)

Swedish krona* meaning 107 million euros. It is helping nontheless!

Sweden donated it’s 18th package in Jan this year worth around 14 billion SEK, pretty quick with another one lol.
I guess it’s in response to the recent drone attacks.

The RBS 70 has been in service with the UA military since 2023 and UA forces have used it to shoot down ruzzian planes, helicopters, missiles and drones (all confirmed). Canada recently purchased the RBS 70 for its Latvian based brigade (delivered in 2024).

I think this is the first donation of the Tridon Mk2 and I am puzzled why dozens of these have not been offered to Ukraine. It is a new system but seemingly very effective and is advertised as flexible and cost efficient. Many of these would greatly contribute to the air protection envelope around population and manufacturing centers in Ukraine. They can shoot down everything other than ballistic missiles.
