Our leaders must stand with ukraine so they do not get blackmailed and screwed over by the US with an extortionary deal that will put them in the hole for generations. The original draft of their proposal was absurd
It is the moral right thing to do to support them and it is collectively in our interest otherwise the cost of a ruined Ukraine will be bore by europeans

Can someone please explain the current state of Ukraine/EU/USA? I saw a headline the other day saying that Zelensky was agreeing to handing over 50% of Ukraine’s minerals to the USA, but now it sounds like Zelensky is rallying the EU? Sorry if I’m out of touch, it’s hard to keep up with this news and I don’t live in EU.

As a Croatian, I appreciate we are included. But…we’re the population of Kyiv…the reality for Croatia, after watching what Europe has done with Ukraine, is that none of our EU neighbours are coming to save us if our southern neighbour loses their shit again.
The only hope we have is a bilateral relationship with the US.
