      Does it mean FDP also didn’t make it to 5%? So we are looking at CDU/CSU and SPD?

      CDU/CSU (Union): Conservatives (in the European sense)

      Grüne: Greens

      FDP: (neo-)Liberals

      AfD: Radical right

      Die Linke: Left (socialist)

      SSW: Party of the Danish minority

      Sonstige: Others

      Putin lovers BSW are out! Great news!

      Now that both BSW and FDP won’t make it, CDU/CSU and SPD have enough seats for a majority coalition – a three-party coalition is not a necessity anymore.
