      the people around me (i’m in new orleans) don’t give a fuck. many are openly happy with what he’s doing. they’re uneducated and haven’t a clue. i hope that when the economy busts people will finally get together and do something. what a time to be alive. the fall of the united states is happening in front of us.

      Now that Trump sided with North Korea and Russia , NATO is gone… less reason for Putin to continue the war in Ukraine , right ?? but Europe should …build fortress Europe , send EU troops to Ukraine, spread their nukes in Europe and proxy places ,develop their own defense industry,, communications, stop purchasing weapons from US thus collapsing the defense industry in US, cut an economic deal with China and invite Canada and Mexico to join their economic union…..

      Buy European (not Hungarian) and Canadian. Europe includes the UK. They saved Europe in the 2nd world war and I think they will be a big part of doing it again.

      Americans. Donate to Ukraine. Your Nazi government hate that. Also, avoid red state products or buy non-tarriffed products from Europe and Canada.

      I read the other day that Ukraine could cripple Russias military if attacks on oil infrastructure are increased by a factor 5-10 (others say less). Hopefully, European countries are now helping Ukraine to achieve this. Biden didn’t want these attacks and I think that Ukraine accommodated him to some degree. I’m looking forward to Putins dog in the white house to scream on Twitter that Ukraines attacks must stop. He has no say.

      What should we do next?

      Finance our continental war like we used to do centuries ago:

      1/ invade a country with: a population that is uneducated (MAGA), eating strange food (MAGA), believing in false gods (MAGA), warring with neighbouring tribes (MAGA), with medieval infrastructure (US rail & electricity), medieval medicine (US health system), medieval justice (US legal system)

      2/ plunder their ressources: oil (MAGA donors oil rigs), corn (MAGA subsidized farms), cotton (MAGA subsidized farms)

      3/ steal the precious metals from their temples: gold (Trump penthouse), silver (Mar-a-lago restaurant)

      4/ hopefully not catch the local diseases from the unvaccinated population (RFK) and not fall into local drugs (US-refined and blended cocaine, fentanyl, ketamine)

      Work really hard at improving our alliances.
      Do not allow minor differences to be exploited by grifters and media barons. Agree to disagree sometimes and grow and integrate properly.
      Comlpy with and enforce the international laws we’ve set ourselves.
      Do not excuse war criminals, ever.
      Work hard together for the better good.
      Hold politicians and billionaires to account. Jail them if they do anything that they would jail you for.
      Help the poor and less fortunate.
      Persecute vociferously those who try to profit from the misery of others.
      Smile more and be happy to live in a free society and not a kleptocracy.
      There’s a wee start to be getting on with.

      Ban or de-algo Twitter within the EU. Or watch as more European democracies are slowly flipped. That should be our priority. Ukraine might win or it might not win… and we should prepare for both eventualities, more so the latter.

      But we need our politicians to wake up to how effective Russian Active Measures have actually been. A little documentary called [Operation Infektion](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tR_6dibpDfo), produced by the NYTimes, is a very well put together and sourced piece about this. If you find the thought that Russia has been manipulating news/social media to be a bit farcical or possibly overblown, then you really need to watch this.

      I’m honestly not sure a lot of people here care what is and is not actually happening, but Macron gave an interview while at the White House and its a bit less sensational than the discourse here lately. Its a little under 20 mins and in English, but its a good listen and mostly about the Ukraine situation.

      Ignore Trump, continue to support Ukraine. Europe does not need the USA, we have all the things that we need and plenty of new commercial partners. Putin is an Americans problem now and is already inside the White House.

      Tell Trump to fuck off. Strengthen economic trade with everyone but the USA, accept Ukraine into NATO, invest more in the military because you are on your own for the next four years at least. Dont trust anything Trump says or promises. He will throw you under the bus.

      Americans are truly one of the most spineless people to have ever existed.

      Think about it. They never managed to get universal worker rights. Why? Because they’re too cowardice to oppose the owner class. They don’t have universal healthcare, no guaranteed paid sick leave, extremely few PTO,… Why? Because they don’t fight the backboneless slugs.

      Our ancestors in Europe fought for those things, they opposed the owner class. I lost every ounce of respect I had left for the US. What about the guns that are supposedly to defend against a corrupt government? Like everything with the US, big show, 0 substance.

      – Tighten relations with allies like Canada, Australia, Japan.

      Now every piece of defence equipment bought by Europe should come from Europe. Do what the Dutch pension fund ABP did two weeks ago and get rid of a lot of US stock. Trump is going to go on with his bullshit with or without it. If he wants to side with Putin, then let him do so on his own.

      I am curious though how far the American people are going to let him take it before they decide to do something about it.
