The Georgian riders(Gurian in origin) were very popular during the rise of the Wild West shows of late 19th century America. They performed various exciting tricks on horseback, I remember reading a source of one rider even back flipping on a horse. They were marketed as “Cossacks” since explaining about the existence of another Georgia somewhere in the Russian empire was too much of a bother, especially to 19th century Americans
