Fully support that the assets be seized for use in Ukraines reconstruction.
If the UK decides to that, it will lose all the remaining clout it has in the world. No one will trust UK financial system again. I don’t think they should do it, the US refused to do it under Biden. It’s bad long term.

Canada did it with the recent aid to Ukraine being 5 billion worth of seized Russian assets
Macron said that any seized Russian asset should be part of the peace negotiations to repay Ukraine and the countries that supported Ukraine. I think that’s a better plan long term than just seizing them of you want to keep your credibility.
