Seems crazy that there is so little security in these devices that they were even able to do this in the first place.
Sounds like they’re all here on student visa’s. There’s an argument that a first offence should be overlooked, but a second offence on a student visa should have that visa cancelled or at the very least prevent them from getting extensions or future visa’s.
