      Gorbachev, Yeltsin, and Putin all stated that former Soviet bloc nations had the right to choose their own alliances.

      Putin is just pissed because most chose NATO.

      I think even Gorbachev would be embarrassed at how Putin is acting. (and Regan would be embarrassed at how Trump is acting).

      The logic goes like this. Ukraine wanted to join NATO to stop Russia from invading it. Russia didn’t want Ukraine to join NATO because that would stop them invading Ukraine. So Russia invades Ukraine before it can join NATO to stop it joining NATO.

      The whole thing was about Ukraine joining NATO, if your IQ is below 80. Person, woman, man, camera, TV. That simple.

      I honestly think there’s two possible scenarios:

      A. Trump is trolling and just wants to get everyone fed up. It’s his revenge for 2020.

      B. He’s an actual Russian asset, and/or Puttin has dirt on him.

      Imo, it just doesn’t make sense.
