Chaffinches eat everything

Recently a friend sent me a photo of a Goldcrest that didn’t make it, down in West Cork. Poor lil dude. He was maybe 2 inches – and a nature warden travelled to collect his tiny body.

If you are a builder/carpenter/outdoors working person, or even in an office block/enterprise park… The small /borbs will attach to you like you owe them child support after two weeks of being the bringer of food! Makes sense….
