Well, now you know lol. I know that 11% doesn’t seem much but if it fills your heart for all 100%, you’re as good an Armenian as we come, in my book.

The DNA test is one that shows which region you’re from.

      Migration patterns and whatnot.

And also there is also a lack of crypto-Armenians, to be considered Armenian.

For example, in the case of Jews, they have the option of specifying if they are or aren’t Jews since they have different migration patterns. And therefore could be either Slavic or Jewish considering the time, and the ethnicity.

There isn’t a big enough Armenian pool to do that

The only thing a DNA test can tell you is the prevalence of your DNA similarities in a given region. In a world with no migration or conquering, you could argue that they show ethnic heritage. But that world doesn’t exist. My DNA test shows similarities to Iranian peoples and Turkish peoples before it shows similarities to people in Armenia. That doesn’t mean I’m not Armenian. Only means that within the last two hundred or so years my ancestors lived in those areas. Which is true tbh.
