Il giorno successivo, le forze speciali russe sotto l’agente GRU Igor Girkin (Strelkov) hanno preso d’assalto il parlamento della Crimea.

Crimea voted to become part of Ukraine in 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union. Under international law, the only way for Crimea to become part of Russia is with the consent of the Ukrainian government. No amount of local referendums engineered by Russia can get around that fact. Putin’s actions are entirely illegal. Crimea is Ukraine.
