    1. Fields are not nature. They’re agriculture.

You can find those everywhere outside the cities.

For beauty, take to the North Sea or the mountains.

I can also recommend the sächsische Schweiz. It’s close to Berlin and is very nice to go for hiking

From Berlin, you can get to the Oderbruch in the east (Middle of Nowhere between germany and poland), the Havelland in the west (great lakes!), the mystical swampy Spreewald in the south and the empty plains of the Uckermark in the North, all in one to two hours train ride, depending on your Bezirk. If you want to go a little bit further, the Sächsische Schweiz National Park has spectacular hikes and the Bastei-Brücke, or to the North you can reach the Baltic seal and the Island of Rügen in under four hours.

A bit of a silly answer, but: take the random train to the random destination, and get off it on a random station somewhere in the province. I believe the little town/village will definitely have some picturesque places and/or sights, and the sceneries around it will please you. That’s I’m doing sometimes as well.

If being more serious: Harz mountains, Saxon Switzerland, or Rügen island are reachable from Berlin in 2-3 hours. All of that are highly recommended to visit for the nature lovers. Perhaps not in February/March though, but a bit later when all the colours of the spring will be visible.

berlin is literally surrounded by the nature you’re looking for, just hop on a regional train that goes out of the city in any direction for about an hour and you’re literally in the middle of nowhere

If you are in Berlin, go west or north for about an hour, actually also south east – Havelland, Ostprignitz, Spreewald – about one or two hours by car or train and you are in areas with lovely forests and a lot of water. I live in the Havelland area, there are thousands of migrating birds here now, geese, cranes – I’m at the Gülper See, Naturpark Westhavelland. Silence, well apart from the birds, and nature.
