Since there are several poems shared recently in this sub, I wanted to share this absolute gem, never fails to make my grown up ass emotional and go and hug my mother. Google translation below for my non-Armenian speaking friends.

      >It seems like I’ve returned home,
Everything is the same as before again.
Again you sit in the old place,
      You spin our old spindle.
You spin and tell a tale,
      You stay endlessly and quickly.
      I love your clear language,
Your hands are worn and thin.
      I look until I’m powerless
My head bends to your knee.
      I’m a child again today,
Paradise is again in my soul.
The sun is setting in the distance,
      Mist rises from the river,
      Your tale sways endlessly,
      Your spindle speaks sweetly…
