      It seems the gaze of the White House has turned from Bejing to Brussels, with President Donald Trump ramping up the rhetoric of criticism and tariffs against the European Union.

      Despite it being a close political, military, and trading ally, Trump increased his attacks on the trading bloc while warming up his approach on China.

      Hot off the back of a visit from France’s President Emmanuel Macron, yesterday Trump told his cabinet that the EU would face—”generally speaking”—a 25% hike on its exports, focused on “cars and all other things.” This is in addition to a wider hike on aluminum and steel imports—industries which are often based in Europe.

      Europe should retaliate by putting a 100 % tariff on Tesla cars! This was proposed by a canadian politician earlier this year to counter US tariffs on canada.

      Lol, the US hasn’t profited the last 80 years from Europe. The EU has always coordinated it’s economical politics with the US.
      Maybe we shouldn’t do that anymore we should found a free trade zone with China, India and everyone who’d like to join us.

      EU has the best engineers and research yet we produce fuck all? Why?
