So, I was watching *The Apothecary Diaries*, and something about Concubine Ah Duo’s outfit caught my attention. In one of the episodes, she’s seen wearing a deep red and gold ensemble with intricate embroidery, a high collar, and a layered design.
Another interesting detail—she has an unusually high tolerance for alcohol, which is also a well-known trait in Georgian culture, where wine has been deeply rooted for thousands of years. Given that Ah Duo is from a “western capital” in the story, I wonder if the animators took inspiration from Caucasian or Silk Road cultures when designing her look and character traits.
Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just overthinking it? Would love to hear your thoughts!
