Wait, diesel isn’t vegan?
Always wondered if anyone was going around checking fuels at different places to see if anything is being mixed in to increase volume. I still remember the horse meat in the beef thing. Since when should we be taking the fuel industry’s word for anything?
Would this not also affect cars?
The limit under EU legislation is 1.7% for beef tallow, the Irish government is petitioning to have this limit increased due to the plentiful supply of cheap tallow on Ireland.
New thing learned today. Diesel fuel is not compatible with vegan or vegetarian principles, wonder how many of our ethical vegans/vegetarians will abandon their diesel SUVs.

Ive been stung by applegreen diesel before and the mechanic mentioned he often gets people with engine issues after using applegreen diesel and even the hvo.
I wondered about this. Anytime I get Applegreen, the car feels sluggish.
