I know, kind of a stupid question, but as some may know, brewing coffee is not straightforward due to different grind levels, different coffee sorts, different interaction with pressure, and so on. So, last time I drank it in a shop, it was made with a classical Italian style espresso machine, but of course I don’t have one at home. I have a french press and a moka pot, additionally I can easily get my hands on a Vietnamese coffee drip filter (Viet shop around the corner). Would any of that work? I am planning to get a drip machine long-term, 3.5 bars, would that work too?

Basic ground coffee. You put it in the cup/in the filter and pour boiled water, that’s how it’s made here normally. Or put it into any fancy machine for ground coffee you have. This is the basic cheap coffee where it doesn’t matter.

    3. Just soak the beans in water, grind them up first if you want or swallow whole.

Some Czech prepare it traditionally by pouring hot water over it in a mug, then drinking it with the grounded coffee. IMHO this method is quite barbaric.

I belive safest option would be pour over or moka pot.

    5. That’s among the cheapest and most basic coffee product you can lay your hands down here. Just pour boiling water into the cup with the coffee (it’s called “na Turka”), making it any other way will be unnecessary overcomplication of this straightforward process.

Put it in a cup and pour boiling water in it, then wait few minutes and pour it into toilet.

This is literally most disgusting coffee you can buy here.

Put a coffeespoon of this into a cup, along with a spoonful of sugar, pour in boiling water, stirr, and drink it. Just be careful to stop before you get to the grounds at the bottom of the cup. The only way to drink coffee!

Put a couple of spoonfulls to a cup, fill it with boiling water and then, while stirring, pour into a toilet.

I hope you don’t form an opinion about Czech coffee based on this garbage.

This is the special one. You just eat it with spoon, barbarians only ruin this masterpiece with water.

Use Moka pot. Or french press, or drip coffee maker.

Usually this stuff is Robusta, so a lot of caffeine. If you can manage the taste, it has the most caffeine you can buy. Or if you are a cheapskate and buy 1kg for 200 Kč.

This is equivalent of when homeless guy buys the cheapest wine to get drunk … this is not about the taste but to simply get your dose of caffeine. Put it in cop, pour hot water over it – ingest.

But to be fair if you are somewhere in the countryside like visiting your grandparents, you are in the garden, sun is shining and you put healthy dose of milt to it – it can still make your day a bit better 🙂

This is used to make Turkish coffee. Just put some in a cup, pour in hot water, let the coffee settle at the bottom into what we call lógr, then drink. Turkish coffee is often enjoyed with lots of sugar, rarely with milk.

It is about the cheapest coffee you can get, however many people enjoy it, such as construction workers and similar professions.

There is also a device to separate lógr, called french press, and this will also work with those old style office drippers as well as those even older style vapor based metal jugs. Also with any modern ground coffee based coffee machine.

When you think about it, its just low quality ground coffee.

You don’t. It’s awful, save yourself the time, hassle and stomach.

Mix it with water and slowly pour directly to the toilet.

    16. 1. Put it in trash can

      2. Add boiling water

      3. Kick it from stairs

    17. Buy the “extra speciál” purple one. It’s half arabica and the taste is perfect. I make it in aeropress and will die for it.
