Really like the 2nd with the Gripen, Rafael and Typhoon (if I’m not mistaken).

Orbán just vetoed a draft document on security guarantees and aid for Ukraine. Unity will never happen in the EU in its current form.

In theory, it sounds great. Yet, in practice, very much unlikely to materialize.

In theory an excellent idea and one I fully support.

In practice I don’t know how easy it would actually be to achieve.

Lurking American here who loves Europe. I’d love to see a more united Europe that becomes a military superpower. The US needs a slap down. It’s bad.

Union: yes. War: no. I don’t want more wars in Europe.

If the wind was blowing from the other side we would have had all the flags in their good side.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion: shouldn’t the accession negotiations with Türkiye be resumed right now? The European Union would benefit from Türkiye´s political influence and the strength of its military. Türkiye would benefit from the economy. A win-win? Of course, Türkiye has to play by the EU rules and that’s where I see the problems

I’m sorry, but our collective European history will ensure that we can never be “united” in the true sense of the word. Europe is already divided in East and West, with some states still acting as puppet states for Russia.
