Quindi fondamentalmente lo YouTuber EVILDEA sta conducendo un’indagine su un presunta Hyperpolyglot brasiliano che afferma di avere padronanza in più di 40 lingue e conoscenze di base in oltre 80. Frode palese? Ovvio, ma alcune persone lo credono ancora, quindi dobbiamo farlo per loro.
Guardando l’elenco delle lingue che afferma di parlare, noterai che la maggior parte di esse sono lingue minori e/o in via di estinzione che sono molto difficili da trovare madrelingua. Lo fa chiaramente come parte della sua tecnica per ingannare le persone che non hanno conoscenza di quelle lingue nel pensare che sia competente in esse. Abbiamo già dimostrato con i nativi delle principali lingue che è davvero una frode, in quanto non sembra aver imparato alcuna lingua straniera diversa dall’inglese, russo e forse ucraino. Dannazionese non è nemmeno in grado di parlare spagnolo che è la lingua letterale più semplice per un brasiliano da imparare, che dire del suo slovacco, mi chiedo. Ma solo i madrelingua possono giudicare le sue capacità.
Sono un membro di Discord di Evidea E sono in missione per trovare nativi per Tutto Di queste lingue in modo da poter avere commenti di nativi di ogni lingua. I checked the Slovak version, it sounds as if he used some text to speech model that doesn’t even support Slovak and then tried to repeat the sentences. Apart from wrong accents, missing softening where it should implicitly be (first word of the instagram vid AhojTE is already wrong), some parts of the reel use words and sentences that a Slovak would never use and sound like some failed machine translation rather than the sentences being put together by an actual Slovak speaker. In some sentences the meaning gets reversed because of some missing nuance of the language. (e.g. “učiť” in Slovak means to teach, but “učiť sa” means to learn).
I generally understood what he meant to say, but a real conversation with a real Slovak would probably not happen.

From that Instagram post, it’s difficult to say if he can speak slovak or if he is just reading the text but I would say he is not reading as he is speaking rather fluently. His pronunciation is ok and is what I would expect from a non native speaker. I think the only way to find out if he is a fraud is to have a conversation with him in slovak.
If he really can speak Slovak on a level displayed in the IG video you linked, then it’s a fairly decent level of speaking for a foreigner and Slovaks wouldn’t have troubles understanding him.
With that being said, it’s still far from a native speaker level. He makes mistakes in pronunciation and his accent is really thick.
Very poor pronunciation, his words sound stiff and probably rehearsed. Not just the individual phonemes, but also the cadence and intonation is unnatural. I’d be more charitable if he was just a student trying to learn, but as a teacher, you can’t expect that kind of charity. At the very least it’s not complete gibberish, but that’s a very low bar to clear.
