USA has a long history of always ‘changing’ mind halfway. See Vietnam, Afghanistan, Syria and now in Ukraine. I don’t understand Finnish government’s urge to put all chips on USA. This is such a gamble. This nation has survived the giant USSR by staying somehow neutral while aligning with west. Finland is driving towards becoming a satellite state for USA and I find this as the biggest existential danger for this great nation.
Until the US invades Greenland and it becomes Europe’s actual enemy rather than ally.
Finnish-Orpo -relationship isn’t that strong, though
Orpo is such a soggy biscuit. What a lame statement after Trump has publicly torn up the Budapest Memorandum, sided with the invaders in an example of victim blaming and dissolved any trust in US diplomacy for years to come (if it ever recovers).
