Should be the opposite, putin driving and trump being a tool
What is the point of whining about it? Vote to increase your taxes and send the money to Ukraine. If you don’t want to do that, don’t expect me to do it for you.
Europe destroyed the alliance by failing to meet the alliance requirements/obligations over the past decade before their recent increase in defense spending.
This is like someone breaching a contract then getting upset and playing victim that the other party decided to discontinue the contract.

Surely it should be the other way round. This cartoon implies Trump is using Putin as a tool.
Openly embracing Putin while turning your back on decades-old security and peace allies who have proven their loyalty, then waging economic battles against your own trade partners with tariffs. A masterclass in self-sabotage.
And all of this, traded for what? There must be a hefty incentive hidden somewhere… but only for a select few. The rest of us? We’re just left holding the short end of the stick.
The thing here is that I don’t find any reasonable explanation about all this except Trump being a russian agent. On the one hand it can not be good for the US give Europe to Russia thus helping China build the euroasian new Silk Road. On the other hand it can not be good for Russia having US extracting resources from Ukraine as a colony. Isn’t it an humiliation for Russia (It needs to be implemented with russian participation in benefits for sure).

In America, the anti-Canada and anti-Europe stuff came out of nowhere. Money is money so why burn bridges with allies. Most Americans (including Trump voting republicans) still can’t see the non-kremlin benefit here, or why our entire Republican congress is allowing it.

Is it really an alliance if we are always the ones giving giving giving amd never getting anything in return, seems more like a bad toxic relationship to me with yall always on the receiving side and not giving anything back
