2 things from this story . He was banging on the window of the car. Why didn’t the husband smash him up . 2nd thing he should have been put straight back on a plane.

This is so sad and it’s not the country we need or want.
This guy lied about his nationality, lied about when he arrived, tried to blame his behaviour on alcohol, he picked her out so wasn’t random. Then he bite her and refused to get bloods to rule out infectious diseases so not only did the victim suffer a horrific assault, she had to wait months to make sure she didn’t catch anything from his biting.
He came through Belfast 5 days prior to committing this crime.
Nolan says he probably should be deported.
He’s a nasty individual, he should be released from prison and sent back to Jordan on the same day.
People will witness cases like this where a man provided with free accommodation, money, assaults a woman, only gets caught because he’s inept, and gets a short time out before he’s back to raping, and then have the gall to admonish people protesting in a small town of 165 set to receive 280 asylum seekers.
There needs to be studies on the violent crime rates of AS to see if they’re in line with everyone else. If there’s no problem then the stats will show that which the government would love.
There also needs to be a study on how many people are victimised due to our policy of giving rapists and violent criminals such short sentences. Rape should have a minimum of 20 years.
We should add the Nolan’s At It Again tag to the article because who else would attach three and a half years to this kind of crime?

This story is absolutely terrifying and every woman’s nightmare, some rabid animal chasing and attacking you while you’re going about your life. The fact it happened at all is horrible but that she then had to live in fear of potentially contracting a disease because the sick fuck wouldn’t consent to testing? She didn’t consent to him attacking her, he should have been forced to comply.
She’s got a life sentence from this, it’s stolen her sense of safety, her happiness in her home, given her PTSD, stalled her career… and he gets 3.5 years? Disgraceful sentencing, that isn’t justice.
