      Yep.

I watched this yesterday and I cannot even tell you **feel so so fucking proud.**

Our country hasn’t had a lot to be proud about in recent years.

But our stalwart, reliable support of Ukraine is something I will honestly go to the grave with being proud of.

thanks Ukraine, for defending Europe. You’re our best absolute friends. You replace another country in that. 🫶🇬🇧🇺🇦

I have to hand it to the UK- they had their idiots in power for a few years and they pulled themselves back together!

Farage nodding away like he’s not sucking the rotten orange cock at every opportunity.

Rare to see such solidarity in parliament!

Didn’t Starmer also declare that the UK will not cut loose the US (or Europe)?

Damn, I already loved UK, graduated from uni there, but their stance on unprovoked, fascist russian aggression is making me respect them even more, especially in the light of recent White house debacle

      Slava UK

I’m 100% Scottish independence. But right now I think we should all be uniting to make a single European military and get the US to fk. Get to Ukraine and stop Putin. The US is going to destroy itself, it’s best if we just left them to it, they treat us all like fools anyway.
Europe as a super continent could equal the US if we all pulled together. Not another EU but something strong, and unfortunately the way the world is, it has to be mainly military. If you know our history in Europe, you know what can happen to us all if we become the weak.

As a Brit, I don’t speak for everyone, but from the people I have spoke with the general sentiment is this. We all stand with Ukraine. We have no hesitation, no wavering, no backing down. Your fight is our fight. To those in Washington and to Americans who support Trump I want to say, history is watching.

History remembers those who turned their backs on us, those who let their fear outweigh their conscience. It remembers those who thought, not my war, not my fight, not my cause, only to find too late that war does not have borders, that dictators do not keep promises, that the blood of the innocent is not the ultimate payment, only the first.

Don’t think that you can negotiate with tyranny. Don’t think that you can negotiate with a man who only knows words of war. History has written this book already, and the ink always dries the same regret.

Almost as if the British Parliament recognizes the issue as what it is – bigger than internal party disagreements.

      This was so refreshing.

It’s so good to see a competent government and leader compared to the 14 years of Tory dismay.

    13. I’m surprised the opposition didn’t call out Starmer for being an asskisser the previous day with Trump and now “flip flopping” his support for the US to be 100% involved with the “peace” negotiations with Russia.

      >Troops on the ground

The only way this happens is if Ukraine agrees to leave Russian land they have fought for, Russians out of Ukraine, and signs a cease fire. No way Starmer or the UK population want their troops in active combat with Russians on Ukraine soil. Doing so activates NATO pact. Unlikely Putin leaves Ukraine land with any cease fire deal and Ukraine isn’t going to sign away Ukrainian soil to Putin. I see no deal happening and no UK troops in Ukraine any time soon.

No peace for Ukraine till Putin dies a miserable death.
