      Nettarieven and vaste vergoeding are not taxes…? Don’t know what the ‘groene stroom WKK’ is tho.

      Personally I wouldn’t consider nettarieven as taxes as they (as far as I understand, but I could be completely wrong) are directly linked to the infrastructure.
      But in general I agree elektricity is too highly taxed compared to other energy sources

      at least its only 6% taxes.

      joke aside, it makes sense because the owner of the net isn’t the same as the one providing energy thus they have to take their own part from it.

      Then there is the gloryhole of green power and certificaten.

      Consume more electricity. It’s cheap and low(er) carbon. Problem solved! Crisis averted. The climate saved ^/s
