🤣 if I understand this correctly it’s pausibly you should not fart at somone bevore they finished speaking, but not only is it german but verry old german too.
What I can say for sure is: du sollt nicht (you shall not)

BTW , this is an old German oak document chest I purchase last year at a German auction. Someone just posted this translation but it seems they delated their comment. Here is what their translation said:
You shall not steal I [or He] give you the night The righteous are free The little ones [or people] go before From Rehden. 1660”
Du sollst nicht urteilen ehe du die Sache hörst und lass die Leute zuvor ausreden.
You should not judge until you hear the topic and let the people finish talking.
