These photos are great. Does anyone have a source on the history of clothing in ireland, I’m really curious about the shawls the women are wearing.

I can remember seeing people who looked like those men in the west of ireland in the 80s. The same suit and hat on farmers going for their after work drink (they’d go to a pub and drink without talking to anyone)
