I’d be surprised if he was suddenly competent when working as a Russian agent. I doubt he is in on it, intellectually speaking. He’s just so gullible, ignorant, insecure, weak, malicious, stupid and easy to manipulate that he’s completely under their control.

Great to see glimpses of democracy in the US. Probably the dieing embers.

It’s almost funny that they still have “the honorable” in front of their name on the desk.

“he’s probably the only individual in the entire universe that can …”

Dude talk like a five year old.

I noticed Tim Kaine behind Jeff. It’s crazy to think he is still in the game after all these years.

Those nominees are delusional, morally bankrupt cowards. Too afraid of the cult to admit reality.

God damn they love to say Joe Biden’s name, don’t they. “I got a hang nail. I believe it was Joe Biden’s weak stance, yadda yadda yadda.”

I like this guy! His questions are so on point. And his no nonsense responses are refreshing to hear coming from a politician.

      6. Trump has refused to ackowledge it was Russia that invaded Ukraine, and 7. Trump refuses to condemn Russia for the invasion, and 8 Trump has refused to call for Russia’s withdrawal from Ukraine, and 9 Trump has not yet stated his intention to seek justice and reparations that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine requires.

      Landau:

      >”The president is an exceptionally gifted deal maker. He is probably the only individual in the entire universe that could actually stop this.”

Landau is either the biggest clueless brown-nose in the US right now, or he’s a feckless bureaucrat reciting the answers that Donald Trump dictated to him personally.

What types of “meetings” or hearings are these?

Because as a european, these “meetings” actually seems like a good thing with rules around them where you actually gotta answer key questions.

I don’t think Trump is a Russian asset. I don’t think Trump has any illusions about Russia either, but he’s acting in accordance with the strategy that Russia can bring more benefit to the US as a friendly or neutral force in confrontation with Iran and China, while Ukraine’s security is the concern and interest of Europe, not the US. The only thing Trump offers Zelensky is to put in a good word for Ukraine with Putin in exchange for Ukrainian mineral resources, but without any security guarantees. Ukraine can take this deal or continue to fight the Russian bear alone. Nothing personal, just politics.

    19. Great points. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck then …

Sen. Jeff plainly asks if Trump sided with Russia. That’s all he asks, and they can’t answer that.

    21. It’s weird that the same year (June 12, 1987) Ronald Reagan asked Gorbachev to “Tear down this wall!” is also the year (July 4, 1987) that Trump allegedly turned coat as Krasn0v when he visited the KremIin.

Reagan was cryptically mentioned by Sen. Slotkin in the SOTU, which might be a hint that Trump is being portrayed as the new Gorbachev and that Putln is now the new Reagan.

I wonder what would be Putln’s request from Trump this time? It could be related and some form of revenge for the destruction of the USSR? Only time will tell I suppose.

    22. I think everything someone doesn’t answer a question they should get cup checked
