    1. This quote is not doing any justice to how hard this man just cooked.

It’s not just in EU countries. Also look at non EU Balkans. Bosnia or Serbia.

Russians have overplayed there hand now suffer the consequences

    5. I hadn’t realised how much I needed someone to say that until he did.

    6. How come he can acknowledge the US as potentially unreliable, yet starmer still states otherwise and ignores every single action taken by the US?

The speech Macron said today should be pronounced by Trump a few week earlier. The western world would feel secured and confident. But a bad luck…

    8. It is difficult not to feel very European in these stormy weeks.

We do actually have a king in Denmark but it kind of feels a little like Macron is one of our presidents too these days.

      He’s right.

(Also, he’s putting Orbán on the spot. Good.)

Therefore, Trump is a threat too because he works for Putin.

Is Europe going to do anything or is it just going to have another meeting

      Autotranslate:

“Political decisions, military equipment, budgets are one thing, but they will never replace the soul force of a nation. Our generation will no longer receive the dividends of peace. **It is up to us that our children reap the dividends of our commitments tomorrow.** So we will face together,” concluded Emmanuel Macron after thirteen minutes of speaking.”

Damn right. All the more important to leave America and it’s people in the dust and take control of Europe ourselves. We have fought wars with and lost warriors for America in buttfuckistan desert countries. Now America abandons Europe totally while publically dogging on the legacy of the warriors who died in those conflicts. It’s time to face reality.

America clearly wants to isolate themselves from Western society while siding with a president of a people who slaughtered civilians in Bucha. It’s time to aknowledge that the American people are traitors with no respect or regard for the history of our countries, a history shaped by bloody sacrifice from both our current and previous generations.

    13. I don’t know much about the guy since I’m not from France, but he is absolutely bathing in good pr at the moment

That was a powerful speech, and it makes me proud to be European (from Estonia)

It’s reassuring that he brought up spending money on European defence and buying European armaments, instead of US ones, developing nukes in other European countries, etc. It was so satisfying hearing things that I’ve been reading constantly only on Reddit/internet being said by the president of France

It truly felt like a speech not only for France, but for all of us

As a French, even though I know that Macron is unpopular in my country, I think he’s doing a good job so far in the face of the threat from the USA / Russia.

Good men and women are doing something now and evil will die.

Russia has a 20 year head start in this hybrid war. Get your shit together Europe or you’ll have a Trump in every country.

Lol… they have BEEN there…ask the ICC about that… they have been seizing assets lately…as they should be…

Damn that sounded a lot like the announcement of war in Europe.

Интересно, а французы боятся больше Путина или всё же ежемесячных налогов?
