      You know….I am am a Canadian and I am GenX.

      If you were to ask me before this administration was voted in to give you names of countries still capable of genocide, the USA would not even have come to mind.

      I can guarantee you, the people following this incredibly dangerous idealism and administration in the USA, have never touched the number’s on a family member’s arm, who survived [Auschwitz Death Camp](http://www.auschwitz.org/en/). I have touched the numbers.

      Maybe we are forced to repeat what we do not live. Maybe the people following this guy have to live through a horrible war in order to look back and say – “Maybe running with this guy was a bad decision.”

      I personally had my grandma and grandpa give their life to the service of our country. I will not disgrace their effort by trampling on the integrity and freedom they fought for to be a goat.

      The stupid thing is that president can even do this. It’s like no laws exists in USA and president can do anything. I can’t image something like this happening in EU. PM/President in average European countries cannot just revoke **legal status**. The fact that it’s **legal status** means there is a law that guarantees you this, and the parliament must vote on changing this law if you want to revoke something. USA is basically a lawless shit show.

      Maybe he even deports them directly to RUZZIA (“They are speaking russian so i sent them to my Friend Putin”) where women are raped and killed and their children reeducated. So in that scenario they are basically outright genocided.

      For a country and people that brag endlessly about the second amendment and how it protects them against tyrannical governments they sure don’t seem to be interested in actually doing anything.

      I remember two american tourists visiting norway. They were on some sort of honeymoon. It was apparent that they were both very well off, and they were strangely proud of that. They had traveled here because “Norway came up as the richest country on google”. We invited them to hang out with us because they seemed chill. I remember we had a conversation about attitudes towards quality of life. They genuinely held the position that we should not spend money on welfare at all. Everyone should fend for themselves. I suspect a lot of ignorant and spoiled people like them exist in the US, who never had a hard time in their life and think anyone who struggle financially somehow deserve it.

      The were puzzled at our circumstances where everyone at our party came from vastly different backgrounds. The host worked as a restaurant waiter, my friend is an entrepreneur and another is a consultant in IT. Yet we are all good friends and we all have enough money to get by. But no lightbulbs appeared over their heads sadly.

      The complete lack of compassion for strangers was striking and frankly made me sick.
