They got massive funding after they were purchased by a billionaire

Club was long dead, an oligarch bought it and threw money in it. It was either Ludogoretz or Spartak Varna (he has businesses in both cities). He has a business in Razgrad – Biovet. Seems he got a better deal for Ludogoretz. Nobody messes with his things in the club. Friends that work in his plant have said that they are forced to be driven by busses for away games. It’s just a money machine. Not having fans and somebody else to mess with his team helps him very much. YOu have so much sh1t to deal with in Levski and CSKA-Dash-Sofia. Some say he buys off judges. So your explanation is bags of money. I’m from Razgrad and have always disliked the club.

Owned by Kiril Domuschiev – one of the wealthiest businessmen in Bulgaria. Has a pharmaceutical megacompany – Huvepharma.

He bought all of the clubs successes – good transfers, nice stadium and training grounds. Allegedly bribed referees and teams that played with rivals.

No one likes the club in Bulgaria except some Razgrad citizens and the town is not big. Also there are a lot of turks in the town, so the whole thing feels distant to Bulgarians and nobody supports Ludogorets even when they play in European competitions.
