How much can this compensate for the lack of US intelligence?

    2. delectable_wawa on

It has been a delight to watch France rise to the occasion. We have much to learn

    3. SIS and GCHQ still has access to all the American intel, its just that they can’t pass it on. I do hope they can work something out quickly to bolster domestic gathering of intel, which we can pass on no problem.

Be careful, if by intelligence, we intend “sending you our politicians”, it’s a trap.

    5. diamanthaende on

Washington suspension of intelligence is a pretty apt description of what is happening.

You won’t find any kind of intelligent lifeform there these days…

    6. Broad_Hedgehog_3407 on

I doubt that France have anything like the same Intel satellites in orbit.

    7. Puzzled-Forever5070 on

Genuine question should the whole of Europe not be sharing its intelligence with Ukraine already?

    8. New_Zebra_3844 on

On would think in such matters there would be discretion and that we wouldn’t be reading about this in the news. Weird.

    9. SenAtsu011 on

I would never have imagined that France would end up being the country that would rise up and take charge after the US went off the deep end.

This was not on any of my 2025 bingo cards.

    10. Sadly Himars will still remain offline or shooting with lowered precision 🙁

      OK but

why wasnt like this until now?

didnt FR give military info tu UA until now? why?

France is truly stepping up as one of the most prolific leaders of the Free World. I applaud them, what they are doing now is super important for the future of my children.

The French have waited for…so…..long to get this chance, let’s hope it’s not wasted.

I still can’t believe idiots think trump is neutral here. He is deliberately sabotaging the smaller country that is being invaded. That only helps the aggressor

Forward, the heirs of the great Napoleon, Lannes, Massena, Ney, Murat, Bessières, Lefebvre, Suchet, Jourdan, Soult!

I have a big fat crush on France the past few weeks.

France was probably feeding us intelligence anyways.. guess who wont get middle east intelligence for gaza soon… the land of terror.. (from a western perspective that is)

If we could then start our weapon production, and start sending some more weapons to Ukraine, then ill be a happy man! But kudos to France.

    19. Ok_Switch6715 on

I don’t think it is necessarily the intelligence that’s the problem. It’s the maps that the weapons use, including the UK ones (Brimstone?)

    20. ou-est-kangeroo on

Meanwhile Washington orders London to stop sharing Intelligence.

UK is still the lapdog of USA – they habe some work to do …. Before they are independent. Unfortunatwly everytime they get reminded of their not so independentness, Brits get very annoyed and antagonistic.

Dear friends across the Channel; it is France that always chose independence over the easier Americana path and you choose not to listen.

Now please be so kind and throw away your shakles, apologise to the EU and join the Eurozone…. We want cull commitment not just fake commitment.

Guys, it’s not about which country is decoupled from US military and US arms manufacturers the most, it’s about a united Europe and a strong stance against autocrats, the crazy orange in the US especially, and for Ukraine and our democracy.

      Vive la liberte!

    22. heavy-minium on

I admit I was wrong about France. If you had asked me a decade ago about French military spending and nuclear armaments, I would have said they should scale it down a lot more because it seems unnecessary. Well, we should never have lowered spending all across the EU as much as we did.

    23. As much as we know how to build some damn fine planes, ships and submarines, a bunch of roxks-go-boom to throw from those planes, boats and underwater boats … I’m not quite sure or intel is of the same level, sadly.

    24. MacaronNo5646 on

Well, you can’t expect intelligence coming from the White House, can you?

    25. 0Tezorus0 on

Trump : ” Baby not happy. Babby gonna remove intels.”

France : ” Yeahh fuck you.”

    26. JohnnyTangCapital on

As a Brit, we have our differences and chauvinism about our cheeses, but I’ve never been prouder of our French cousins. You’ve shown yourselves to be truly right on sovereignty and military independence 🫡🇬🇧🇫🇷

Putin was going to take Ukraine in 3 days, but now 3 years have passed, and he has not been able to take Ukraine, but has taken Washington down, laughing to death
