I doubt Republicans even knew who Zelensky was in 2022

I find it disgusting, how easy the Republicans believe the orange traitor.

Republicans are living in a cult. They would eat shit if Pumpkin Spice Palpatine would praise its benefits.

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that ‘my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

It’s funny that US adult citizens are separated from dems and reps😂

Wait but dear leader told me he has a historic mandate.

*”For the first time in modern history, more Americans believe that our country is headed in the right direction than the wrong direction – an astonishing record 27-point swing, the most ever.”*

Recent polling data contradicts this statement, with only 34% of Americans believing the country is moving in the right direction, while 49% feel it is on the wrong path.

Oh, well, obviously in ukraine, those are fake news. In Murica, any poll that shows trump above fifty percent is clearly perfect and tremendous. And he that shows him up below fifty percent, is, of course, also fake news.

US Republicans are such cultists. The very second their leader tells them to ignore the past 3 years and hate a war hero, they immediately do it without question.

Insane that the net positive for Republicans at the start of the war was already the lowest of the 3 groups. Zelensky literally said, “I don’t need a ride, I need ammo” and somehow the party that worships masculinity doesn’t like him. Baffling

    9. They really don’t think for themselves, do they? Just believe whatever Trump tells them to believe.

That chart def doesn’t scream “cult” by one political group

Funny how Republicans began disliking Zelensky when Donald Trump told them to. Zelensky hasn’t done anything different since Donald Trump became president. It’s Donald Trump that’s telling people that Zelensky is suddenly bad.

      Just sheep behavior.

Talk about being brainwashed: american republicans, specially MAGA ones

    13. It’s incredible that people’s opinions and values can change so drastically depending on what their favourite orange is yelling at the moment.

They swallow Russian propaganda hook, line and sinker. The world has taken a terrible turn.

    15. Ashen233 on

Crazy that drop. Do they honestly not think for themselves?

The “critical” thinkers. The orange says something and it is gospel. Absolute sheep.

This last slope in the red line makes me think of this passage of 1984

“But by far the more important reason for the readjustment of the past is the need to safeguard the infallibility of the Party. It is not merely that speeches, statistics, and records of every kind must be constantly brought up to date in order to show that the predictions of the Party were in all cases right. It is also that no change in doctrine or in political alignment can ever be admitted. For to change one’s mind, or even one’s policy, is a confession of weakness. If, for example, Eurasia or Eastasia (whichever it may be) is the enemy today, then that country must always have been the enemy. And if the facts say otherwise then the facts must be altered. Thus history is continuously rewritten. This day-to-day falsification of the past, carried out by the Ministry of Truth, is as necessary to the stability of the regime as the work of repression and espionage carried out by the Ministry of Love.”

Trump is bragging that his approval rates (in the US) are very beautiful, great, awesome, etc but is it actually true?

    19. NativeEuropeas on

Republicans are far more oriented at leader figures.

MAGA is basically a modern day religion, and criticizing their prophet Donald Trump goes against the dogma.
