Starlink wasn’t difficult to build. SpaceX was. With ownership of SpaceX, placing those shoebox size satellites into orbit comes at almost zero cost. With every commercial contract comes spare room for extra satellites. In other words, your customers pay for launching your own stuff.

Europe needs those reusable rockets technology. Rockets that can land. NASA financed SpaceX upfront and ahead of any results. Give that kind of money to a bunch of smart engineers and you get those as well.

Europe and especially Ukraine have plenty smart engineers. Costs could be provided by EU and Venture Firms.

Costs: About $40 Billion (see below).
Valuation: As of 2024, SpaceX is valued at **over $180 billion**, making it one of the most valuable private companies in the world.

Since its founding in **2002**, SpaceX has raised more than **$9 billion** in private funding from investors like Google, Fidelity, and other venture capital firms.

      # NASA Contracts

NASA has awarded SpaceX over **$10 billion** in contracts, including:

      * **$2.6 billion** for the Commercial Crew Program (Crew Dragon).
      * **$3.1 billion** for Cargo Resupply Missions to the ISS.
      * **$2.9 billion** for the Artemis Human Landing System (Starship).

      # R&D and Development Costs

      * The **Falcon 1, Falcon 9, and Falcon Heavy** rockets were developed at a fraction of the cost of traditional government programs. Elon Musk estimated Falcon 9’s development cost at around **$300 million**.
      * The **Starship program** is estimated to have cost at least **$5-10 billion** so far.
      * The **Starlink project** has likely cost **over $10 billion** in satellite deployment and infrastructure.Funding & Investment Since its founding in 2002, SpaceX has raised more than $9 billion in private funding from investors like Google, Fidelity, and other venture capital firms. If we sum up private investments, NASA funding, and development costs, the total cost of SpaceX’s operations over its lifetime is likely around **$30-40 billion**.

Lay fiber across the front lines into every static position. Drones can do it.

Just a joke but when you need a Russian to throw someone off a balcony you can’t find one

Europe needs to go crazy with defense spending for just a year or two. It’s going to be costly but you have no choice now because you can’t count on us.

America can’t be trusted anymore. Our government is in a huge mess and it might just fall apart if this continues.

Say thank you! Uncle Sam always insists.

Imagine also if your car company said technically they could control your car remotely if they wanted but they’re not gonna do it ever. Say thank you!

Musk and Trump are actually both enemies of Ukraine from their unhidden siding with Russia. So clearly senseless to rely on service provided by your enemy. Dump Starlink as soon as possible is a requisite.
