      What’s the best European replacement for HIMARs? And by replacement, I mean that we can give to Ukraine in sufficient numbers and timely manner.

      Back in 2014 when there was no goverment and the country was in disarray and headless, many Ukrainian civilians took arms by themselfs to fight the rebels in the Donbass, joining volunteer batalions en mass. For several months, these volunteer batalions led by former military members, took the fight back and the initiative from the Russian backed rebels, they stemmed the advance rate and quickly retook some lost territory. And they did it, breaking into empty or barely staffed military bases and taking what they could to fight, Trump needs to realize that, it doesn´t matter if he wants peace and cuts all aid to Ukraine, its the vast majority of the Ukrainians who decided to take arms and defend ther country since 2014 that decide if, when and how they want peace, not Trump, not Macron, not Scholz, not anyone. The Ukrainian people, like others in Europe, know very well how Russia works and the price to pay if they give up

      Can confirm. I am a Ukrainian living in EU and my old friend (an active military personnel) got an approval to see his ex and his kid here.

      The ambitions to fight are astonishing but the amount of death thoughts are daunting.

      Edit: I hope I will see him again. I hope all his limbs will be still attached. He told me that he volunteered to fight at the actual front line.

      Maybe you guys could convince Europe to stop buying Russian oil and gas so the Russians aren’t funded?
