    1. >told Armenpress that the compatriots in Syria have not raised the issue of their evacuation.

      Really????????

I was going to make a post about this today but decided not to, time and time again, Armenia gets opportunities to convince the diaspora to repatriate and chooses to do nothing. Don’t tell me it doesn’t have the budget, we do, we’ve had a whole budget for Artsakh Armenians, as we should (which they aren’t making use btw), we’ve had budgets to convince people to move to border villages for housing and stuff, this budget can also be allocated for the diaspora to convince them to repatriate, and even though I am one to say repatriating is not as easy as it sounds, but when the Armenian government makes a seamless program and gets in touch when them, it can happen…

      >Evacuation of Syrian Armenians currently impossible

This is such a bullshit comment for being unprepared and having no plan, what a load of crap.

What they can do: give grants to their family members and friends to foster the next generation of loyal oligarchs.

What they can’t do: Stand up for Armenians who are being attacked by Turkish proxies.

This isn’t what anyone wants the country of Armenia to be, I understand that we are all about Aragats over Ararat now and keeping ourselves and our interests contained inside Armenia, but this type of “Eh, let them handle their own problems” attitude when Armenian people are at the mercy of the Turkish puppets yet again is infuriating. Get those people out of there by any means possible.
